We ended up at this restaurant after our flight was canceled. It was a delightful surprise! We arrived about 30 minutes before the restaurant was due to close, but the servers and live music welcomed us warmly. Kevin was very friendly and recommended some dishes for us. The two of us shared some empanadas and a smaller portion of the mixed grill. The mixed grill was enormous, with a portion large enough for at least four people! The steaks were perfectly cooked to medium rare, and the sweet bread was delicious (even though I am usually not a fan). It was the perfect dish to share and taste a bit of everything! If you love steak, this is the place to be!

2nd time here w/ a large group of friends. Services always great, they don't rush you out. Food is just ok to me, I don't like how they over cook their vegetables. My clam dish wasn't as good as the first time I tried it, missing spice. This is a meat eaters paradise, so my friends were happy with their dishes.

If you are a meat lover, this Argentinian spot is paradise for you! I was introduced to La Fusta by my brother in law who is obsessed. Turns out my niece is too, but for other reasons...she loves the ravioli and bowl of candy at the front. I've also had their pasta previously and was pleased. Back to the meat... the parrilladas are extremely well portioned and can be shared by at least three people. For the amount of meat you get + 2 sides, $63 feels like a steal. The biggest difference I noted between the American and the Argentinian parrilladas, is that there is tripe, blood sausage and no chicken in the latter. The Argentinian one is for sure the more "adventurous" one and the consistent favorite with my crew. The MVP is their chimichurri sauce. Lordy! It needs to be bottled up and sold to the masses. It's garlicky with a tinge of spicy...pure perfection. Please douse it all over the complimentary bread, but pace yourself because you may not want to stop. The La Fusta salad also gets 11 stars. Absolutely delicious. The artichokes were a nice surprise. Perfect accompaniment to the meat, but also stands alone as its huge and very flavorful. The sangria has tons of fruit, but doesn't exactly pack a punch. We got the passion fruit flavor. I can do without the alcohol at this place. All in all, I've enjoyed coming to La Fusta and it's always a welcome suggestion when really hungry and craving good food at affordable prices. Definitely recommend!

Love this place and will come again. They had a person playing saxophone this night. We came to celebrate our anniversary and it was wonderful. The empanadas were truly authentic Argentinian and full of flavor. The house sangria was strong and delicious. The gnocchi took me to Buenos Aires even though I've never been lol. The parrilla was really good too and the dessert to close out was heaven. We will definitely come again.

Located in North Bergen, this Argentinian restaurant is a must try for meat lovers. I ordered the skirt steak with shrimp just to try a mix of the beef and seafood. I ordered my steak medium and it was medium (always nice when restaurants get that right). The marination on the meat was so delicious. The shrimp was also really well cooked. The sauce that came drizzled on the dish was tomatoey and oily and went really well with the steak and shrimp. I also loved the charcoal taste of the overall dish. I also tried the dessert that the waiter recommended (I forget what it was called exactly but it was a crepe). It was a great recommendation, the dulce de leche stuffed in the crepe was delicious. The only reason I'm giving this place 4 stars is because of the service. It's not the best service, the waiters were kind of rude and didn't come back to ask if everything was okay. Also, they ended up charging us $8 for a bottle of water when tap water would have been perfectly fine--they didn't give us the option.
